From strategy games to confidence-building storytimes, the Nampa Public Library offers a vibrant array of programs designed to ignite curiosity, creativity, and connection among youth. With activities scheduled throughout the week, there’s always something exciting to look forward to!

  • Novelist K-8 Plus

    Find a good book (fiction or nonfiction) for school or pleasure for kids and teens. Search by title, author, subject or series name. Includes award winner lists, book discussion and book talk guides.

  • Overdrive Logo

    Nampa Public Library offers free access to OverDrive through the Libby app, allowing you to borrow eBooks, audiobooks, and magazines with your library card. Titles can be read on computers or mobile devices and are automatically returned with no late fees.

  • Goodreads

    Goodreads is a “social cataloging” website that allows individuals to freely search its database of books, annotations, and reviews. Users can sign up and register books to generate library catalogs and reading lists. They can also create their own groups of book suggestions, surveys, polls, blogs, and discussions.

    Libraries Linking Idaho (LiLi) is a large provider for online research and databases for Idaho Libraries, you will find a lot of other online resources by clicking on the link. When you go onto the site click the age group and it will take you to a list of databases.

  • Self-paced practice tests, subject tutorials and full-text ebook study guides for all ages, with learning centers for Elementary, Middle and High School, College & College Prep, Software Tutorials, U.S. Citizenship, GED prep and a variety of job search and workplace skills, including ASVAB, academic, postal service, law enforcement and many other tests.
