The American Boffer program is a fun, structured activity where kids stay active and engaged the whole time. Through safe foam sword games, they build coordination, confidence, and teamwork skills in a supervised environment. A central pillar of the program is the Oath of Fairplay, which teaches honesty, accountability, and respect for others during both play and competition. It’s a great way for kids to burn off energy, make friends, and come home feeling accomplished.

At the start of the program there will be a beginner introduction to Origami basics. Origami paper and diagrams will be available to fold whatever you like!

Learn the basics of Dungeons and Dragons while building skills in team work, storytelling, and creative problem solving.

Experience Peter Fletcher Before His Carnegie Hall Performance!
We’re excited to announce that acclaimed American Classical Guitarist Peter Fletcher will be performing at our library! This is a unique opportunity to see him live before his eighth solo recital at Carnegie Hall on April 10th, 2027.
Peter’s solo recital will feature music ranging from the Renaissance to the 20th Century, including selections from his new CD, Peter Fletcher in Concert. Highlights include the Bach Lute Suite No. 3, Usher Waltz by Nikita Koshkin, and a special arrangement of Simple Gifts. The concert will conclude with pieces like Cordoba and Leyenda by Isaac Albeniz.

For ages 2-16
Put on your favorite costume and join us for a not-so-spooky dance party! Little monsters, superheroes, princesses, and creatures of all kinds will enjoy music, movement, imaginative games, and festive Halloween fun. This playful class is designed to get kids moving, laughing, and celebrating the season. For ages 5-10.
This free Arts in Motion class is presented by Idaho Rhythm. Spots fill up fast, so register below! Walk-ins welcome if space is available.
Knitting Workshop
Learn the basics of knitting – knit stitch and purl stitch. Bring size 8 knitting needles and cotton yarn of your choice. Take home a great dish cloth (or at least the start of one). Some supplies are available in class.
This class is open to ages 12 and up.
Beginners thru advanced welcome.
