The Friends of the Nampa Public Library enhances your library visit in many ways. We gather books and media for the collection, and fund programs, as well as prizes for summer reading, and rewards for youth volunteers.
We invite all who love the library to join our group! We welcome new members and look forward to getting to know you. It’s easy to join the Friends, with annual membership dues of $10 for those 65 and older; $15 for an individual; $20 for a family; $50 for a patron and $100 for a business or sustaining member. (If you are on a budget, you can volunteer in place of some of that cost.)
Membership packets and committee sign-ups are available. The Board of the Friends group meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday at 11:00am in Multipurpose Room B, guests are welcome! Watch for our quarterly newsletter! For more information, contact the Friends of the Library here.
You can help the Friends help the Nampa Public Library in many ways:

Book Donations: You can donate books by bringing them to the Friends of the Library Bookstore during our hours: Wednesday & Friday from 12-4 p.m. If you have lots of books, contact 4friendsnpl@gmail.com and we will make arrangements to come get them for you. What do the Friends do with donated books? We sell them in our new Friends of the Library Bookstore located in the lobby, online, at the Nampa Seniors’ Center each month, and at other locations. Income from these sales helps the Friends support our library.
Volunteer: The Friends of the Nampa Public Library offer many opportunities for volunteering. Get to know new people who share your interest in books and in the library. We are a welcoming group and always look forward to new Friends volunteers! If you are interested contact the Friends of the Library here.
Cash Contributions: You can send tax-deductible cash contributions to the Friends who will use those gifts to support library programs and purchase of new resources. You can also support the Friends through payment of annual membership dues. Members receive regular library press releases and newsletters as well as quarterly Friends of the Library newsletters.
