Audiobooks, eAudio, and eBooks are totally in the game too! Each week, dive into a new category and jot it down in your log. If you finish by December 20 and report back by December 27, 2025, you’ll snag an exclusive EBN prize for conquering all 50 categories. Let the reading frenzy begin!

OFFICIAL RULES
- This challenge is for adults 18 years and older.
- Extreme Book Nerd (EBN) runs January 2, 2025, through December 20, 2025.
- One book per category for a total of 50 books in 50 weeks, to be read and finished by December 20, 2025. You cannot use the same book for multiple categories.
- Active Nampa Library Card required.
- All books read for the challenge need to be recorded in your EBN reading log with the title, author, and category name or number.
- Books for other reading programs and book clubs can be counted toward this challenge if they fit in one of the categories (i.e., Summer Reading Program, book clubs, school assignments, etc.).
- Audiobooks, eAudio, and eBooks can count toward the challenge.
- Participants who finish by December 20 and report the challenge by December 27, 2025, will receive an exclusive EBN Prize.
- When you have completed all 50 categories:
- ask a Nampa Public Library staff to sign your log by December 27, 2025
- fill out the completion form
- Reading logs will only be accepted in the distributed paper format or by emailing your completed list to lairde@cityofnampa.us.
- Prizes will be available for pickup starting in February 2026.
