The illustration was designed by Jerri Lisk, and Trademark Sign Company produced the art panels and the birds for display. This is located in the lobby.
Jerri Lisk is inspired by the dramatic landscapes encountered in her diverse travels and never leaves home without her sketchbook in hand. Back in her studio, Jerri interprets her line drawings into paintings of vibrant color which combine the unique surface of sanded aluminum and a selectively naïve style to skillfully convey the raw, yet seductive, innocence of nature. Her compositions float within a border of aluminum, having a three-dimensional feel which suggests a separate metal frame.
Trademark Sign Company is the Boise company that is responsible for all of the wonderful artistic signs throughout the library building. At Trademark, they speak two languages: design and craftsmanship. They pursue visual excellence with tenacity and vigor, insisting that the finished products deliver their message with clarity, boldness, and efficiency. Whether you need a logo, traditional signage, or something completely custom, they can accurately translate your desires into the world of design. But their commitment to quality only begins with good design — it ends when you’re happily admiring your finished product. They are as skilled using power-tools as they are graphics software, and fabricate most of their work under the same roof it was designed. By taking responsibility for every step of the process, from inspiration to installation, they are able to bring our visions to life with exacting clarity, while working efficiently.
